Happy New Years Eve…

I’m seeing out the year with family in London. Just played (and won) my first game of Cranium - what a game !

I have been up in London for the past week or so with family for Xmas. It’s been very nice (apart from getting man-flu !)

We are heading off too see the Lion King in Covent Garden later. While in Covent Garden we came across the below wish chamber type thing !

You cal a number, tell them your wish and enter to see it appear…

Arrived back safely last night from the weekend in Shropshire. The Cottage we were staying in turned out to actually be a 8 bedroom manor house !  Hot tub, under floor heating and 3 main rooms !

Perfect weekend with good friends, food, poker and even some geocachng thrown in for good measure !

A meteor crashed through our atmosphere earlier this week and has been caught on film by various people in Canada.  I’d love to have seen something like this.

In other YouTube related news, they have increased the video playback size now, along with most videos offered in higher res. Good to see them changing what had become an old looking interface.

..what I am thankful for ? Well, off to Shropshire tomorrow for a long weekend in a beautiful Manor House, compelte with hot tub and 100’s of geocaching around !

The folks over at BMW have developed a textile ’skin’ that is pulled taut around the car’s shell.  It’s a little hard to describe how it looks, so check out the video :

…me, stuck in. Heading up to the Cit-at for the weekend. Sadly a combination of half term, Friday and accidents has equalled hellish traffic.

Heading over to Covent Garden to play Little Big Planet tomorrow. No doubt I will want a PS3 tomorrow !

Oasis live last night were amazing. I knew they would be good but had no idea it would be SO good.

Not only did they play my best songs from the new album but also Wonderwall (I thought I would never hear this live), Masterplan and a number of the best Oasis tunes.

Also managed to leave smelling of bear due to the numerous pints that were thrown around !
